Meet Lisa

A tornado of wild, free, beautiful energy.

Lisa Eikamp doesn’t do halfway. Drive through downtown Traer at ten o’clock at night and odds are her shop lights are still on — a funeral spray or a wedding on the table, because the memory has to be felt, and she’ll give it fifteen hours if that’s what it takes.

Don’t be surprised if the shop looks different every time you walk in, either. When the feel stops matching the vibe, the whole place gets a full overhaul — sometimes at midnight. Corral boots next to wind chimes next to crochet frogs, because — why not? Life is layered. So is this shop.

She’s a farm girl through and through — horses, donkeys, farm dogs, and every human who walks through her door. All color, full throttle — and the kind of person who’d truly give you the shirt off her back.

“Your arrangement isn’t a transaction. It’s personal. She’ll treat your order like it’s going to someone she knows — because in a small town, it probably is.”

Her real gift? Finding the exact right thing in flowers — the bloom, the color, the shape that showcases your person, your moment in life, or just makes your space feel the way you need it to. A family walks away feeling like someone truly understood who they lost. Her designs are exquisite, unmistakably hers — a true artist’s hand in every stem. This is not a grocery bouquet.

Finding the rare in the everyday. The beauty in every moment. A Midwest shop — local and online — led by a woman who believes every order is someone’s moment. Your Tuesday “just because.” Your hardest goodbye. Your treasure-hunt find you didn’t see coming. Local floral delivery. National shipping on memorial keepsakes and gifts. Small-town heart, no matter the zip code.

The Shop

Tin ceilings. Exposed brick. And a whole lot of wild.

Simply Blooming lives in a historic downtown building on 2nd Street in Traer, Iowa — exposed brick walls, original tin ceiling, corrugated metal counter, dark wood floors, and cage lights that make everything glow. The second you walk in, you know this isn’t a chain florist.

It’s a treasure hunt. Fresh flowers share space with Corral boots in vintage glass cases, charm-bar jewelry, bleach-dyed flannels, crochet animals, home décor, and memorial keepsakes. There’s iced coffee. There’s energy drinks. There’s two cats who absolutely think they own the place.

And there’s Lisa — somewhere in the middle of all of it — making something beautiful for someone.

What makes you rare makes you beautiful.”

The Juliet rose — Simply Blooming's brand mascot

Why the Juliet Rose?

The most expensive rose ever created.

David Austin spent 15 years and $5 million breeding the Juliet rose. No shortcuts. No rushing. Just patience, grit, and the stubborn conviction that something extraordinary was worth the wait.

Ninety petals. No two blooms open the same way. Sound like anyone you know?

Lisa built Simply Blooming the same way — petal by petal, season by season. The Juliet isn’t just a logo. It’s the whole philosophy on one stem:

Bloom wild, cowgirl. Stay rooted, stand tall.
